Gaming Market Adventure (03/11/2024)

I went to the gaming market in the city the other day and it was not bad. This market started back in 2021 I think and at first I didn't know what to expect besides buying games, "gaming market" pretty self-explanatory. The first time I went I do remember it fondly as if it was a adventure which is weird! It was just a good time hehe.

This time obviously wasn't as good as the first is usually the best but it was still nice. Usually I make a list of the old video games I have an interest in and off I go to buy them. Problem is competition, price and stock but usually I get what I want or something just sneaks by and goes "hey hey hey, you know you want to buy meee". This year I wanted to get myself some old survivial horrors dating back to the PS1 generation. I don't particualry go for horror games but this time I thought why not try a new genre for myself, I might like something or have some creative outburst from them. Besides horror, I still was keen on buying some games such as other PS1 games made by Square, particulary Parasite Eve.

This was my generic list for this market, paints somewhat a picture of my taste:

New mousemat, Posters, PS1 horror games (nightmare creatures, D, Fear effect?), Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem, RE4?, Max Payne 1 + 2, Tokimeki Memorial 1 + 2 (dont judge me), More Square games (eg parasite eve 2), P3 FES physical?, Jade Cocoon 2, Mario Galaxy 1 + 2, MGS Twin Snakes (will be super expensive), Mario Sunshine?

Must buy FF each time!

I am aware the list is formatted ugly but whatever you can't stop me. The list has some quality games. It was pretty nice becuase I managed to actually get some of games from my list that I didn't expect would actually show!

I have wanted Eternal Darkness for many years now and to finally have it, I am excited to play it! It would be great to scare myself and friends with it hehe. I have heard many great things about this game so now that it is in my possession I am thrilled to try it and immerse myself in it, considering I do not play horror games at all. Finally getting myself Parasite Eve albiet in Japanese but I can try to read it I guess. The games are from well known franchises besides Jade Cocoon but Jade Cocoon has a special place in my memories as I grew up with the first one.

Although this blog is a short one, I would like to keep it short for the first blog here, see how it goes, see what I like here but I hope you enjoyed your short read here during your day, I appreciate it a lot!
