A Small Update (4 September, 2025)

For a month or two (either way a very long time) I have been extremely busy to the point I made no updates to this site unfortunately but thankfully the speed shall pick up again!

I was extremely busy focusing on my personal life as I am moving home and starting a graduate job which is somewhat far away. It is quite daunting since I have never had the experience of living alone before! Therefore I focused on everything at home so the transisiton will be easier and finish up on projects or anything with my family now so it would be easier to continue later.

This website has admittedly been slow since it''s inception and that is all on me, sometimes I focus on the right things, sometimes the wrong. Overall it does influence the time and effort I put into the site.

Starting a job would mean that I will have less time to work on the site right? Not quite! I have been doing upgrades and planning behind the scenes so quite literally things are only getting quicker to implement. I just have to actually show it instead of talking about it hehe.

So what is there to expect moving forward?

I think a reasonable update every 2 weeks is perfect to begin with. That includes site upgrades/changes, blogs, albums etc which is the perfect time frame for me to work and implement to my standard. I have already made myself a plan to get things working to my vision by december (almost a year of this site and admittedly havent shown a years work lol) but again, things are changing a lot in my life and now is the opportunity to make it all worth it.

I have a few features in mind that hopefully will be implemented in the near future. This includes:

- News Section (framework already completed, just now need to be nurtured religiously)

- User Comments (Concept is almost there, lot of work to make sure all is secure and swell)

- Interactive Database (mainly for the FF sections, difficult but not impossible as a means to locate items and other data)

- Better Feedback System (originally barebones but it is important to have contact with any user that wishes to say anything in the moment)

- More Blogs and Albums!

End of the day, the passion for this site is not gone at all and whilst using content management systems (CMS) may be the most logical approach (such as WordPress to name one), there is fun and a great avenue of learning to do it all yourself. I learned so much so far and it has been fun all the way. ALthough time is money so a CMS is often THE choice, I am happy to just vibe like this hehe. Who knows, maybe I can transisiton to one eventually if I really wanted to.
